It concludes by arguing that governments need to understand the benefits and the limitations of disaster risk financing and insurance as part of their disaster risk management strategies.     Impact of sea level rise on developing countries: a comparative analysis

    In this study, Geographic Information System (GIS) software was used to overlay spatially-disaggregated global data on critical impact elements (land, population, agriculture, urban extent, wetlands, and GDP) with the inundation zones projected for 1-5m sea level rise (SLR).
