- Description
- This policy research report examines developing countries' likely attitudes to international treaties regulating carbon emissions, concluding that the clear differences in the factors that determine likely negotiating positions are based on the country's vulnerability to climate change impacts and that the barriers in the transition to renewable energy are political and institutional rather than a lack of availability. Detailed tables of relevant data for the countries covered are also included. This report was published by The World Bank in 2007.
