Educational resources for the Myanmar academic community

Get involved

The eTekkatho library is aimed at staff and students at universities in Myanmar but is open to anyone involved in learning, teaching or research. We are always looking for ways to improve the library. We want to combine access to open, high-quality resources with your comments, ideas and suggestions for new features to build a digital library that will grow and adapt to support higher education and research in Myanmar. Please get in touch using the help page if you have suggestions for us or would like to be involved in the project.

Building research partnerships

We are developing an area of the website to assist universities in Myanmar develop their international research partnerships. To start the process, Dagon University has created a list of research activities in which they wish to develop international collaborations. If you would like more information about working with a research group at Dagon University, please send a plain text email outlining your interests to etekkatho@manchester.ac.uk

Building the library

We are constantly looking to build the library further. You can suggest an open educational resource such as a digital book, dataset or learning resource to add to the library using the help page.

Building the network

We are looking to develop our network. If you are a member of staff at a university in Myanmar and would like a local copy of the library to distribute at your institution, please contact us for further information. There are no costs involved and the set-up and delivery of the library is free to higher educational institutions in Myanmar.

If you are a student of computer science or information technology and would like to work on eTekkatho as part of an internship or student project, please get in touch.
