The eTekkatho library is aimed at staff and students at universities in Myanmar but is open to anyone involved in learning, teaching or research. We are always looking for ways to improve the library. We want to combine access to open, high-quality resources with your comments, ideas and suggestions for new features to build a digital library that will grow and adapt to support higher education and research in Myanmar. Building research partnerships
We are developing an area of the website to assist universities in Myanmar develop their international research partnerships. To start the process, Dagon University has created a list of research activities in which they wish to develop international collaborations. If you would like more information about working with a research group at Dagon University, please send a plain text email outlining your interests to firstname.lastname@example.org
Building the library
We are constantly looking to build the library further. You can suggest an open educational resource such as a digital book, dataset or learning resource to add to the library using the help page.
Building the network
We are looking to develop our network. If you are a member of staff at a university in Myanmar and would like a local copy of the library to distribute at your institution, please contact us for further information. There are no costs involved and the set-up and delivery of the library is free to higher educational institutions in Myanmar.

If you are on campus at these institutions, you can access the eTekkatho library over the local area network or from a terminal in the library building. In addition to the online version of the library, all of these local installations also include Special Collections resources from the University of Manchester open online course materials, Wikipedia in English and Myanmar, Fuse School videos, Khan Academy training videos, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) OpenCourseWare and Yaung Zin teacher training materials.
